I worked as a Photojournalist in the Hartford market for 18 years. During my career in local news I have also been an independent video producer creating television programming since 1992. My wide range of experience includes Producing local political and educational campaigns and an audience-led talk show in Hartford Connecticut, and serving as Director of Photography on a 13-episode Animal Planet-style series filmed on location in Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, and the United States.
In 2007 I took on the job as the sole Photographer/Editor when WFSB launched its locally produced daily lifestyle show Better Connecticut. The role required me to wear several hats in the pre production, production and post production areas and since this was a sales integrated show, I also had to excel in client relations.
These experiences have provided me with a wealth of knowledge in producing creative videos using limited resources and smaller crews, which translates into lower costs for my clients. If you have been considering adding video to your marketing strategy, now is a good time to start and Pearl ProVideo will get you started in the right direction.
